The essentials

What synchronized dubbing really means.

Studio microphone

Dialogue synchronization

Translated dialogue is timed to scene cuts and speaking turns while preserving narrative meaning and pacing.

Studio monitoring headphones

Voice consistency

Each character needs a stable performance, appropriate emotion, natural pronunciation and permissioned voice rights.

Recording scene

Visual lip synchronization

Altered mouth movement is optional. Apply selectively where a shot benefits from it and the original footage permits processing.

Dubbing FAQs

Production questions answered.

Is AI dubbing the same as lip-sync?

No. Dubbed audio can be timed to the picture without digitally altering mouth movements. Visual lip synchronization is a separate operation.

Can an entire movie be dubbed automatically?

Automated pipelines can cover large durations, but cinematic releases require script adaptation, music-and-effects preservation, voice performance and human QC.

Can we dub in Arabic and French?

Yes, subject to licensed rights and vendor language coverage. Select dialect/register deliberately; translation alone is not a production-ready master.

What rights are needed?

Film localization rights, permitted distribution territory/media, performer and voice rights, and rights to exploit the translated masters.
